Ranger side zip rubber boots are not an option that
the company at this time offers. But they do offer some of the
finest fire fighting footwear available.
While you won’t find Ranger side zip rubber boots, Ranger
Firefighter Footwear does make a speed-zip leather fire boot and
several rubber bunker boots to choose from. These are all boots
meeting the highest fire safety standards.
Some of the Ranger boot selection includes: the Combat L.B.,
which is lightweight, breathable and offers NFPA protection. The
Firewalker line of fitted and NFPA compliant boots. There’s
a women’s fitted bunker boot. And the Total Fire Group,
which specializes in fire safety expertise, has designed a leather
structural boot.
I’m not going to put all the specifications down here
because you can get those at the Ranger
Fire web site. These boots are very technical so there are
a lot of components that go into making them.
One of the features Ranger is most known for is their Shoe-Fitä
construction. These rubber fire boots are made from a shoe “last”
or “form” which enables the boots to better form to
your foot. They feel more like a shoe than a traditional fire
boot.
A good place to get these boots is Chief
Supply - Fire Boots. They specialize in fire safety equipment
as well as emergency equipment. If you don’t see the boots
you want there, ask them if they can order them for you.
(Special note: We assume you are looking for a rubber boot with
a zipper on the side made by the Ranger boot company. The reason
we say this is because there are what are known as ranger boots,
which are a type of combat or military boot. These boots are leather
and similar to jump boots. If perhaps you are looking for these
types of boots, a good place to check out is Uscav.com.
They have a huge selection of boots plus lots of boot buyer reviews.)
