Depending on the type work you do, you have several choices
of an Ariat womens work shoe or boot.
The Terrain model is considered to be an Ariat womens work shoe
while the Cascade and Hermosa are considered womens work boots.
All have different features that make them unique. Anyone of these
shoes or boots will serve you well in an outdoor work environment.
However, if you are just looking for something to wear in an office,
try looking at Ariat women’s casual shoes and boots.
While Ariat considers the Ariat Terrain boot a shoe, it looks
like a hiking boot. It can be used on the trail with great results.
The Terrain is more supportive than tennis shoes and offers more
support than several brands of hiking boots. If you need a Cordura
upper with a steel toe and an electrical hazard certified boot,
this is an excellent choice. These slip and oil resistant shoes
are so comfortable people often buy another pair after they‘ve
worn out the first ones.
Ariat Cascades are leather women’s work boots. These and
the Hermosa tend to look like the traditional work boots you see
from Georgia, Lacrosse or Carolina boots. There is a slight western
flavor to them that I believe permeates all of Ariat womans footwear.
Cascade boots are my favorites of the bunch. This 6-inch boot
features Ariat’s ATS foot bed technology, a full Goodyear
Storm welt outsole, leather uppers, an orthotic arch, comfort
ankle flex, oil resistant Duratread and pull tabs to help get
them on. There are several colors to choose from as well. This
is really a great women’s work boot for the money. You get
comfort, stability and durability all in one confidence building
boot.
The Hermosa is also a 6-inch boot and shares much the same features
as the above boot. However, it has a padded boot collar to fend
off chaffing. I personally haven’t ever had that problem
so to me it’s not a needed feature. It only comes in one
color.
