You’ve seen Sorel boots before but will not know
what a perfect winter boot, rubber boot and work boot they are

When Sorel boots first designed the Caribou boot, it quickly
became a favorite. This rubber boot with a leather upper and removable
felt liner was a perfect winter boot. And its rugged construction
made it a durable work boot for snowy conditions. Sorel boots
scored a winner with these boots. Your feet will melt like butter
into the felt insides. The use of the sturdy rubber boot bottoms
and flexible leather uppers made for a winter boot that could
last a lifetime as long as you feet weren’t growing. However,
you can get Sorels in kid boot sizes as well as men and women’s
boot sizes.
You can also get different combinations of liners in Sorel boots
that will make your work boots even more comfortable. Some models
come with a Thermo Plus felt inner boot or Thermolite Rapid Dry
insulation to keep you feet warm and dry under even the most threatening
winter weather conditions. Some models have removable foot beds.
Most have EVA comfort foot beds and midsoles. You can get liner
replacements that will make these winter boots truly last forever.
The vulcanized rubber boot lower shell comes standard on almost
all models. The rubber toe is what Sorel boots are famous for
and what imitators mostly copy.
We don’t want to just give the impression that Sorel boots
are just for winter conditions. They do make great winter boots
but can be used in many conditions a rubber boot like a Muck boot
or other work boot can be used. Because of their waterproof nature
you can tromp around in swampy conditions too. Just take some
of the lining out if the boots get hot. They make a very good
work boot for out in the yard or in other circumstances. We’ve
worn ours while removing stumps and carrying rocks to line a walkway.
It should also be noted that Sorel boots is subsidiary of Columbia
Sportswear Co. This is why their lines of winter boots and rubber
boots look similar.
