My friend Becky is such a boot freak. Platform boots are her favorite. She loves knee high boots. Anything that is edgy she thinks is a hot boot. Big black boots are what Becky is all about. The bigger the platform boot the more she thinks it is a hot boot. I don’t know how she wears some of these knee high boots. The platforms look 10 feet high! I like platforms myself but I prefer a good Nine West boot or something like a boot Steve Madden made.

So Becky loves her big black platform boots and she wears them everywhere. Even during the summer. I think she is a bit of a rebel. She says she likes the fact that the boots make her feel taller and stronger. There must be at least 4 inches she has added to her height when she wears these hot boots. I think she likes the fact that she can look straight into guy’s eyes instead of up at them. She’s a bit short so I think she enjoys a more level playing field. Becky says she really likes knee high boots over all because they also cover up a nasty scar she has on her shin bone that was left over from a car accident. Pretty good reason I guess but I don’t think the scar is that bad.

Besides the height advantage and the fact the boots cover her scar, Becky says she loves her platform boots because she never has to worry about what shoes or outfits she is going to wear. She now has mostly outfits that look good with her knee high boots. That’s all she cares to wear. I can’t remember the last time I saw her in tennis shoes. My Gawd, she truly is a hot boot freak.
