For stomping around in the mud and muck, Muck boot
are totally efficient as a work boot and beat out most other rubber
boots
You have to like a Muck boot. These boots are good for so many
conditions. They are 100% waterproof boots and most other rubber
boots just aren’t. They incorporate a moisture control lining
and stretch-fit tapered collar to keep water out. Muck boots are
rubber boots and not PVC or TPR material which uses plastic. Plastic
tends to cold-crack and wear out especially if you use them as
work boots and work them hard. Muck boot’s rubber will stay
flexible and last for years. Most rubber boots except maybe Lacrosse
boots won’t last more than a season or too and especially
if they are exposed to a lot of sun.
Muck boots are a really versatile work boot. Almost anything
in the yard or on a farm can be done in Muck boots. Most other
rubber boots are not reinforced enough or they are too cold to
be used as work boots during cold weather. Muck boots have a 100%
insulated shell that works to keep you warm even in subfreezing
conditions. Plus with its CR-foam bootie these boots stay warm
enough to be a duck boot.
Did we mention that Muck boots make a good rain boot too? Well
these rubber boots do. And because of the triple reinforced toe
area and quadruple reinforced heel area you can walk a decent
distance in them comfortably. We can’t say that about most
rubber boots. We do recommend that you wear thick socks and when
sizing them get at least a half size up from your regular size.
In this way your work boots will be a more comfortable fit.
