Simple design concepts help the Isaac Mizrahi Saxton boot
become a top seller that’s hard to find anywhere online
unless you know where to look.
What I like about the Isaac Mizrahi Saxton boot is it’s
clean, simple yet elegant lines. There isn’t a bunch of
what I call designer fluff put on it. It’s an up to date
14” fashion boot with a 3 ¼” heel. The look
is pretty plain yet very cool at the same time. This is kind of
how Mizrahi designs now days. He used to make short runs of things
only his friends and models might like. Now he enjoys making cool
designs for mass appeal mostly through his licensing deal with
Target. Of course you won’t find these boots at Target and
Mizrahi does continue to make high-end items as well.
The bummer about these boots is they are sold out in most sizes
everywhere. Zappos at the time of this writing had some in white
Napa in just size 7.5 available. You have to search under “Saxton”
to even find them. They won’t come up under “Isaac
Mizrahi.” The better place to check for them is Shoes.com.
They have a few in brown but it’s limited. A better choice
might be to switch to the Isaac Mizrahi women’s Vain boot.
It’s a black suede boot that is very similar to the Saxton
and available in all sizes.
If you just aren’t having any luck finding the Saxton you
might want to check out the following other boots:
- The Hugo Boss 93796, 17” shaft, 14” circumference,
3” heel.
- The Donald J Pliner Leean, 15 ½” shaft, 14”
circumference, 3 ½” heel.
- The Bronx Salva 16 ½” shaft, 14 ¾”
circumference, 3” heel.
- The Nine West Lynol 17” shaft, 15” circumference,
3 ¾” heel.
Check the pictures of these boots on the left side of this page.
This will give you an idea of what they look like. Each has gotten
rave reviews at Zappos from women everywhere.
