The Born Pagoda boot is a great boot but you’d better know what women say about them before you buy.

The Born Pagoda boot has turned out to be extremely popular with women who need an excellent kick around boot that has style to it. This boot comes with a side zipper for quick exits and entering. It also features the DRYZ moisture wicking system, leather lining, Opanka hand sewn construction and an Island rubber sole. The boot has a 9 ¼” shaft, 12 ½” circumference and 1” heel. The upper part of the boot is all leather. The boot comes in 3 colors: Navajo (a reddish brown), black and brown croc.

However, none of this matters as much as what women say about it. Most really love it, which is why so many get sold. They feel it is a very comfortable boot but you must get the right size. The general consensus is that the boot runs small and you should get at least a ½ size to a full size larger. This is extremely important if you have a high arch. If you don’t size up, you won’t be able to get your foot past the instep or the boot will be too tight. The boot also has a narrow feel to some people. Others felt it was a bit wider than what they were use to. I guess it will depend on your foot shape and your preference with this.

Many women felt the circumference of the boot was not as form fitting, as they would like. Yet others preferred this. Taller girls like the Pagodas because the heel wasn’t too high. Several women felt they were easy to walk in. Some felt they took a little time to get use to due to the more forward placed heel. However, this wasn’t considered a problem. And women who spent all day standing because they work retail enjoyed the comfort of these boots.

Best places online to find these boot is at Zappos and Shoebuy.com. Both places had all three colors and were within $6 of each other price wise. Zappos actually had the Navajo color on special sale at the time of this writing for about $10 less. Both dealer offer free shipping.
